Summer Fruit Tart

Fruit tart is my favorite dessert, me and my husband made one for my birthday early this year. Berries are in season now, and our closest supermarket have them on special, so he made me another one.
Recipe adopted from Joy of Baking.

Sweet Pastry Crust:
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter (at room temperature)
1/4 cup white sugar
1 large egg (lightly beaten)

Pastry Cream:
1 1/4 cups milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3 large egg yolks
1/4 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 tablespoon liqueur (Grand Marnier, Brandy, Kirsch) (Optional)

Apricot Glaze: (optional)
1/2 cup apricot jam or preserves
1 tablespoon water

Topping:
Any fruit you like (we used strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and kiwi)
